*** Congress passed the rescissions package and eliminated federal funding for public media in July 2025. KRCU received approximately $150,000 every year from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting -- around 25% of our annual budget.
This decision will force difficult choices, but we will do our best to preserve our service and the role we play in strengthening Southeast Missouri. However, we can’t do it without you. Without federal funding, listener support matters more than ever before.
