The Gullah Love Sweetgrass Basket is a quiet celebration of heritage, love, and legacy. Handwoven from sweetgrass, longleaf pine needles, and palmetto leaves gathered along the sacred Gullah Geechee Corridor, each strand carries the rhythm of ancestral hands and coastal land. Crowning the basket are Love Knots, a cherished family symbol of strength, unity, and the ties that bind us across generations. Measuring approximately 6 by 1.5 inches, this small basket holds a deep story - one of culture preserved, love honored, and tradition continued.

Care Instructions: Not Dishwasher safe. Preserve your basket for generations to come by using soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. It is recommended to use a liner for the baskets when placing objects inside, such as a linen, napkin, or light towel. It is not recommended to wash your basket or leave in areas where it can easily get wet

The artisan advises "leaving the basket in the sun may cause them to change color over time, often darkening in color, but we believe this only adds to the beauty of the basket over time!"
